"I am Mohd. Sameer from Agucha location. Unchi Udaan Program helped me in getting a better schooling and preparation for JEE entrance exams. Through the efforts of HZL, I got into IIT Madras (Chemical Branch) which is one of prestigious institutes in India. I am thankful to CSR, team and Hindustan Zinc limited as I am a proud student of Unchi Udaan Project that cracked IIT. "I have received a lot of help and support from the HZL’s CSR program 'Khushi' and their team. Initially this Anganwadi centre was operated in the school compound with a small room with fewer facilities. But now this centre has a Nandgharsfor three years and this happened because of the intervention on of Khushi team. Earlier no such facilities were available inside the school for the centre, but now all basic facilities The community involvement has increased, parents are happy to see Nandghars and are now sending the children to study. After this program implementation I got immense support on Pre-School Education and Health. Previously I did not have much clarity on parameters to identify the SAM/MAM, but the trainings on health helped us to understand things practically. I am thankful to Khushi team for their support and am happy to do be a part of HZL CSR project"

"As I have been the president of Anganwadi Vikas Sami_ since last year, I found this that this Anganwadi could make lots of positivity to different people. When I was pregnant, I had visited this centre for different health requirements like vaccination, mother's meetings, monthly weight check-ups etc. At that time, I found there were more requirements was needed at the centre. Later Khushi team approached me to take part in the Vikas Samiti meetings, I joined with the team for the development of this Anganwadi. My thought is to just start a new initiative for the development of the needy and I'm happy to say I could have done. Now I'm its president and as I started to support them lots of hands come forward in the form of contributions. The credits to this goes' to Khushi team and their efforts."

"You will be a winner if you believe in yourself, have dedication, and pride, and never give up. I had always hoped to achieve success in life by working and supporting my family. I want my younger brother and sister to pursue higher education and succeed in their respective lives, but I was feeling dejected and demotivated because of my financial situation. I was inspired to fight back and do well in my life because of the Zinc Kaushal programme, and I eventually achieved my goals by being gainfully employed. I am grateful to Hindustan Zinc and the Ambuja Cement Foundation for empowering me."
Bhavika Kabra
"Me and my family members easily get basic medical facilities because of Mobile Health Unit run by Hindustan Zinc, otherwise we have to travel at least 20 km for the nearest health set-up to get a general check-up from a doctor. Medicine provided by the vehicle gives us relief from the illness "
